How we organise practice areas

Australian legal practice is highly specialised. A family lawyer who does the occasional commercial matter is not the same as a commercial litigator who occasionally helps a friend with their divorce. We classify lawyers by their actual day-to-day practice, not by what they list on a business card.

Each practice area opens into city-level pages. A “family lawyers in Sydney” page shows you the verified family lawyers practising in Sydney, the typical fees, the relevant court infrastructure, and the questions to ask before engaging. Same shape for every practice area in every city we cover.

The first six practice areas are live with the founding cohort of lawyers. Six more launch through Q3 and Q4 2026 in order of consumer demand. Until then, the coming-soon pages explain the framework, costs, and how to find the right lawyer through our match flow.
